Trinity

Trinity Ward is a 16 bedded rehabilitation ward with two beds for the care of end of life patients.

Rehabilitation patients will have a rehabilitation programme, designed by therapists and delivered by the whole team including nurses and healthcare assistants. We work closely with hospital volunteers who facilitate weekly craft sessions and activities.

Please ensure if you are admitted to the Ward that you bring day clothes, comfortable shoes and toiletries.

We want to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you visit our wards, and all our staff aim to adhere to our values of Passionate, Respectful, and Responsible. Find out more about our vision and mission.

Specialism
End of life care, and Rehabilitation.
Visiting Times
2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Up to two visitors can visit a patient at any one time. Booking is not required. Please do not visit if you have symptoms of a respiratory illness (cold/flu-like illness) or you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days. Children under the age of 12 years are welcome to visit relatives however, this needs to be checked with the Nurse In Charge on the ward. Wards are busy and sometimes what a child or young person could observe may upset them, or equipment and poorly patients that maybe in the bay with their relative could distress them. Children unfortunately pick up viruses themselves and we would want to check that they are well prior to coming onto the ward visiting a relative that is already ill. Alternatively, if patients are well enough they could meet their young relatives at the coffee shop at the main entrance of Harrogate District Hospital which would be a better environment for children.
