From Harrogate originally, I qualified from Newcastle upon Tyne Medical School in 1994. I trained in geriatrics and general medicine in the North East, leading to a locum consultant post in Sunderland in 2004. I moved to a substantive consultant post at North Tees Hospital, Stockton-on-Tees in 2006 before returning to Harrogate in 2009.
I am an Elderly Care Consultant with a special interest in orthogeriatrics (the care of older people on orthopaedic wards). I also take part in the general medicine on call rota.
My clinic is predominantly for follow-up of patients but I can take new patients on request.
