Mark Hutchinson

Mark has been a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor for over 30 years and currently works as a Locality Manager in the 0-19 Service in Middlesbrough within the Children and Young People Public Health Directorate. He is passionate about the 0-19 Service, his colleagues and clients and works with the aim of ensuring positive health outcomes to families within the 0-19 footprint.

He has worked in a variety of settings including Intensive Care, Neurosciences and the National Blood Service meaning he is able to bring a wealth of clinical experience to his role.

Mark is an advocate for the Trust’s KITE values and believes they lay the foundations for his interactions both with clients and when considering the health and wellbeing of his colleagues in the 0-19 Service.  Rising to the challenges of being a staff governor adds to his skill set with the aim of making a difference to the working environment for colleagues.  He uses his well-honed listening skills and friendly and approachable nature to engage both with staff and with the Board with the intention of producing positive outcomes for all concerned.

In order to relax away from a busy role, Mark enjoys walking in the country between shopping trips to Newcastle and caring for two British Shorthaired cats with his Civil Partner.

If you would like to contact Mark on a matter related to their role as a Governor, please email [email protected]. Thank you.
