Governors represent the interests of the Trust members and the general public and this public meeting provides the opportunity to see them in action.

Board meetings

The Board meets in formal session on a number of occasions annually, to receive assurance about the performance of the Trust, review strategic risk and make decisions on future development and management.

Meetings of the Board of Directors are held in two parts. The main meeting is open to the public while a shorter private session discusses issues which are commercial-in-confidence and/or disclose patient and staff identifiable information.
